Perhaps we should dust this thing off and reconvene for the upcoming Sarah Vowell book The Wordy Shipmates. I think that could be a fast, informative and engaging read that everyone could agree on. You really can't go wrong with Sarah Vowell. What do you all think? It comes out October 7th. That way we also have time to finish any books we're currently reading and get all pumped up for our thrilling and participatory discussion on this very blog.

We cannot move on until somebody posts something on "To the Lighthouse." I refuse.
i wrote a very long response to this which i was then barred from posting and i lost it and nearly cried. however:
1) aye aye captain. love it. your idea is genius. you are a genius.
2) EP: you are the only one smart and disciplined enough, i fear, to complete and then thoughtfully discuss VW's materpiece TTL. I did so in my soph year at mich and couldn't stop talking about it, and now look at me, a mere 5 years later. depressing. but i do vow to post something on TTL prior to the release/commence of sarah vowel's new book.
